Mr. Calkins has been in Christian education since 1979. He received his BA from the University of Wyoming in Middle School Education and then in 1990 received his MA in Educational Management and Development from New Mexico State University. He has taught in several grade levels from 2nd grade through high school. Since 1990 Mr. Calkins has been administrator of two other schools before coming to Christian Heritage School in Steamboat Springs in 2003. Mr. Calkins and his wife, Linda, are parents of three children, all grown.
